These TRADITIONAL TABLEMATS, laboriously and meticulously made by our elderly, will add a touch of tradition to your home and stir fond memories of the good old days. They are hard to make and even harder to find nowadays.
In the past, such mats were made in different sizes for use as seat cushions and pot coasters. Now they are also used as decorative tablemats for the flower vase or as lovely coasters for the coffee or tea pot. The bigger pieces can also serve as floormats.
