Home ~ What We Love About It. Singapore HeritageFest 2011

Notice anything familiar in these pictures below which we took from the Singapore HeritageFest 2011 website? Well, they all have TeddyThotz's patchwork blanket as their motif!
We've been so busy that we only realised today how extensive the patchwork blanket motif has been used. It can be seen around Singapore on buntings and banners, on posters in MRT trains, in brochures and everywhere where the HeritageFest has its public events ~ from Ang Mo Kio Hub to Fort Canning to Velocity@Novena Square.

DON'T MISS THE FESTIVAL FINALE
The festival finale that's taking place over the next three days (29-31 July) is at Velocity@Novena Square. According to the festival brochure, "nostalgia is the buzzword" at the festival finale and they have "saved the best for last". There'll be a "Great World Cabaret Show", mini amusement park offering kiddy rides, cultural performances by various ethnic groups, a "Discover Balestier" walking trail, and other attractions.
Nostalgia must necessarily include things our grandmothers used to make for us. Therefore, you'll also find TeddyThotz's "Elderly Enterprise" products on sale at the exhibition area inside the shopping centre. There are beans sprout husks pillows and bolsters, zipper bags and tote bags, tissue holders, tablemats, pot coasters and cup coasters, and of course our popular patchwork blankets ~ all made with pride and love by our elderly.
Don't miss the grand HeritageFest finale at Velocity@Novena Square from Friday 29 July to Sunday 31 July!
