Hand-Crocheted HOODY BEARS ~ Most Unique Teddy Bears wearing Hoods of Different Animals and Characters

Our HOODY BEARS are among TeddyThotz's earliest and most unique teddy bear designs. They are bears wearing a hood of a different animal or character. The hood can be pulled back to reveal a cute smiling teddy bear.

We started the HOODY BEAR series some years ago when we got to know Ole who was crocheting during her free time after work to supplement her income. Ole, who is now a mother of two kids, learnt to crochet from her mother when she was a little girl.

With the HOODY BEAR idea that we gave her, Ole has created many hoody bear characters showcased in this post. Our HOODY BEARS now also provide extra income for Ole's elderly mother's extended family living in the countryside.

Shown below are the three different sizes of HOODY BEARS that we have ~ Small (8-9cm tall) with keychain for hanging on bags or in your car, Medium (17-20cm tall) and Large (23-26cm tall):

MaXX Bears & Bunnies Celebrate LOVE

"When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long;
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong.

Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snow;
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose."
~ from "The Rose" written by Amanda McBroom

This is one of the best love songs of all time written by Amanda McBroom and sung by Bette Midler in the 1979 film "The Rose". Love can be "a razor that leaves the soul to bleed" or "a hunger, an endless aching need". But even when your heartache is most deeply felt, remember that "love it is a flower, and you its only seed. ... that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes the rose".

And here to celebrate LOVE are seven MaXX Bears and Bunnies made from recylced jeans. The bear is around 25cm tall and the bunny is around 38cm tall (measured from seated position to tip of ears). TO ORDER please email TeddyThotz with the image of the bear or bunny. Our new price is $45 each with free local delivery.
